Top 4 Live Streaming Video in 360 Degrees & VR

We imagine ourselves if we could be at some place in the real time and view the surrounding of it using the live streaming video in 360 degrees. And furthermore, to experience like we are really there via the VR headset.
Usually, we can only experience that kind of sensation during special live event or one time occasion and not like 24/7 type of thing. Most of the time, it is usually the pre-recorded live video and not a truly live streaming event.
However, we try our best to dig and able to find few real-time and live cam video in 360 degrees viewing format. The list of the selected video fulfilled the following criterias:
- It is a real-time and live streaming cam. Not a pre-recorded video.
- We can turn and look around in 360 degrees.
- We are able to watch it using the VR format also (the stereoscopic view).
And below is the list of Top Live Streaming Video in 360-degree and VR format from our perspective. Behold….
1) Joe’s Camera Lab
It looks like a scenery outside of somebody’s home. From the description inside the Youtube, it is from the camera of Explore.org’s manager of field operations. Here, the camera is located in his scenic yard in Arizona.
2) Geo Vision GV-VR360
This live streaming video from Geo Vision looks like somewhere from the middle of the street in Taiwan. You can set it to a high resolution image.
3) South Haven Light – 360° Live Lighthouse Cam
This real time camera is from the lighthouse cam on Lake Michigan. The lighthouse name is “South Haven South Pierhead Light” and it was first lit in 1872 and it is still operational.
4) Avon Lake Eagle
This real time video is showing the bird’s nest.
There are also previously few 360 live videos such:
- Cat Share about this real time camera captured the live of the cat in a room. From the description, the cat’s name is “Shinzo” and it is a male Scottish Straight breed.
- Southwest Florida Eagle Cam 360 is about showing the nest in the Southwest Florida.
How to Watch the Live Streaming Video?
You can try now either using Google Cardboard kind of VR headset or by using the more high end headset such as Oculus Quest 2. If you are using Quest 2, then you can open the Oculus Browser and go to this page and try the experience above one by one. When it opened up in the Youtube app, then go at the bottom and switch to “360 VR” mode.

I am trying to set up a web cam similar to the one on the South Haven pier as noted in this link.
The videos in this link are no longer active. I have the GeoVision GV-VR360 camera and OBS program which is the same as the South Haven camera. So far, I have a live image from tha camera using the camera utility program and one on the OBS software. What I am trying to figure out is how the get that video on a YouTube site. From the videos I have seen so far, the OBS program is not used, but the experience is the same. Allowing the viewer to move the image around to see the camera image from all directions like you are looking around. That is the image I want to set up a camera on the Grand Haven Lighthouse. I am with the Grand Haven Lighthouse Conservancy which is the group have the final implementation. If anyone can help, I would appreciate the assistance!
