3DUI 2015, the IEEE Symposium on 3D User Interfaces in France
Recently updated on December 28th, 2019 at 12:40 pm
Next year, there will be an event in conjunction with the IEEE VR 2015 which is IEEE 3DUI 2015. Its full name is “IEEE 10th Symposium on 3D User Interfaces” and this two days event will be held from 23rd to 24th March 2015 in Arles, France.
This 3DUI 2015 event will be a great platform for the industrial guys and academic researchers to exchange their latest or state-of-the-art research and findings on the 3D user interfaces technology. They can participate in a number of ways such as by submitting their full technical papers, technotes and posters to this symposium.
3DUI Research Areas
There are a lot of exciting research in 3DUI areas that will be covered here such as the 3D input devices, 3D display and sensory feedback, 3D interaction techniques, 3D user interface metaphors, 3D user interfaces desktop, evaluation methods for 3DUIs, biologically inspired 3D user interfaces, human perception of 3D interaction and collaborative 3D interaction.
Not to forget, they will also touch on the 3D user interfaces for virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) as well. Besides that, they will also cover on the applications of 3D user interfaces such as games, entertainment, education, CAD etc. Other than that, the tradition will still continue with the “3DUI Contest” which is also known as the 3D User Interface competition. This contest provides the opportunity for you to unleash your creativity and share your ideas with the community.
