Recently, Razer, a gaming peripheral company, introduced OSVR Hacker Dev Kit, an open-source VR gaming headset during CES. They target to release it to public on June 2015. The price of the Razer’s OSVR Hacker Dev Kit will be around US$200 ($199.99 to be precise).

Recently, during the 2015 International CES, HP introduced their own VR product which they called ‘HP Zvr Virtual Reality Display‘ . Zvr is actually an enhanced computer monitor with interactive virtual reality display that can let the user to rotate, navigate and manipulate the 3D images. Sounds cool…

Recently, one of the private universities in Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), had signed a three-year MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Virtalis Limited and Thames Technology Sdn Bhd. The MOU is for the establishment of a Centre of Excellence for Virtual Reality (VR).
