Steps to Uninstall Games/Apps on Quest 3…
Step 1: Power on Your Meta Quest 3
- Put on your Meta Quest 3 headset.
- Make sure there is still lot more battery left so that the uninstallation process runs smoothly without interruptions. Best if it’s fully charged or connected to a power source.
Step 2: Navigate to Your Library
- Press the Meta button on your right Touch Controller to open the Universal Menu bar.
- Universal Menu bar will appear. Select Library from the menu options.
- Here you’ll see all your installed apps and games.
Step 3: Locate the Game or App You Want to Uninstall
- Scroll through your library to find the app or game you wish to remove.
- You can also use the search bar for faster access.
Step 4: Open App Options
- Hover over the game/app.
- Press the three dots (···) or options button on the app icon like in the image below.
- This opens the context menu with available actions. Select Remove.
Step 5: Select “Uninstall”
- A pop-up menu will appear. Choose “Uninstall only” if you want the games/apps icon to remain in the library. This will make easier for you to reinstall it later in the future. Or you can also choose “Uninstall and remove” to completely delete the game/app from the library for good.
Warning: Uninstalling the app will remove all local data. Make sure any save files are backed up if necessary.
Step 6: Wait for the Process to Complete
- The “Uninstalling” message will be show on the game/app.
- If previously, you select “Uninstall and remove” option, the game/app will disappear from your library once uninstallation is complete.
