After using the Meta Quest 3 for a while, you’ll eventually receive a notification that the battery in the Touch Plus Controllers is running low and will need to be replaced soon. In this article, we will share with you on how to replace or change the battery of Meta Quest 3 Touch Plus Controllers. Without further ado, let’s go through the steps…
Steps to Replace Battery of Quest 3 Touch Controller
1. Firstly, find the small triangle around the controller. You can see the location of the triangle on the right Touch Plus Controller in the Figure 1 below.
2. Then, you press the small triangle lightly. Please refer to Figure 2.
3. The cover of the battery compartment will pop open slightly. Remove the cover fully and it will show the existing battery inside the battery holder or compartment as in Figure 3 below.
4. Next, you take out the old battery from the compartment to replace it with the new one.
5. After that, you take the new AA battery and put it inside the compartment. Make sure to position the battery with the positive side facing the bottom and the negative side facing the top of the compartment. You may refer to Figure 4 below.
6. Put back the cover by sliding it up gently.
7. Push it up slightly like in Figure 5 below until you hear it snap into place.
8. Now it is done (Figure 6). You are good to go to continue playing your VR.
