Yes! At last, our favorite old time and legendary game, ‘Thief‘ is now coming to VR with the official title “Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow“. And it will be release later this year to major VR platforms which are Meta Quest, PlayStation VR2 and SteamVR platforms. That’s really awesome!
About The Game…
In this new game reimagined for VR, we will be brought back to The City which is now ruled by Baron Ulysses Northcrest, a powerful tyrant who is feared by the oppressed. You will play as Magpie, a cunning orphan thief who will uncover a legendary artifact that is holding a legacy from the past.
While exploring The City, you can climb rooftops, sneak through back alleys, pickpocket guards, pry open hidden compartments, and bypass locks as well.
With this new game, you will use immersive VR mechanics to steal, evade, and outsmart the forces controlling The City.
As in the original game, you can use darkness as the stealth to evade patrols and outmaneuver enemies. You’ll also got the chance to use your favorite bow, arrow and gadgets to distract and eliminate your threats. What a ‘wonderful’ memories!

The best part of that trailer is in the end where we suddenly hear a familiar voice. Yeap, the voice of Garret from the original PC game. And to make it exciting, the voice is still played by the same actor who is Stephen Russell. Oh! How we miss that crap and cynical muttering that come out from his mouth.
