Zero Latency with Wireless VR System

A start-up company from Melbourne, Australia is currently working on a wireless multiplayer virtual reality gaming experience. The company called Zero Latency is using its Inversion VR system to create the virtual world environment where the players can shoot and fight the zombies and spill lot of blood. They claimed to build the only full-freedom wireless VR experience on this world. Wireless?? That sounds interesting to me…

The Inversion VR system does not just come with the Oculus Rift headgear alone. Instead, it also comes bundled together with the full-body motion tracking or real-time motion capture, wireless backpacks and weapons and also a large play area where the players are free to move around and perform actions such as walk, run, jump and crouch. With the games running smoothly at 60 frames per second, players will feel that there is nearly no latency. Cool….

Zero Latency and Inversion VR

For the next step, the Zero Latency team is planning to share this awesome experience with the public where the early bird can get the Game Passes for 60 AUD each. Overall, they are targeting for 25, 000 AUD from pre-sale tickets on Pozible, a crowd funding site like Kickstarter, in order to pay for the venue rent, game development and to get more equipments or hardware required for this historical event. They plan to launch it somewhere in November 2014 in Melbourne. You can watch the video below to see how the players react and feel when they try out the game using Inversion VR.
