Recently, during the 2015 International CES, HP introduced their own VR product which they called ‘HP Zvr Virtual Reality Display‘ . Zvr is actually an enhanced computer monitor with interactive virtual reality display that can let the user to rotate, navigate and manipulate the 3D images. Sounds cool…

About HP Zvr Virtual Reality Display…
HP claims it as a step towards a true holographic viewing where it will change how users think, work and create with virtual-holographics 3D images. The Zvr is using the 23.6-inch diagonal screen display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. HP Zvr is powered by the zSpace technology. We can say that this solution is the example of blended reality technologies. The technology is expected to reduce the barriers or gap between the digital, virtual world and the physical, real world.
HP Zvr comes with its own 3D spectacles or glasses to provide the users with a high-definition 3D stereoscopic display. Users will be able to use the stylus to interact directly with the 3D objects as if the object is floating in front of you. There is also optional HP zView solution where it will allow real-time sharing of 3D models to a big 2D screen. The input is either DVI or DisplayPort 1.2. It also comes with USB 2.0 hub with three outputs.
Personally, I think this will be a good stuff for salesman to used during their sales pitch at the booths or office. And of course for the presenters as well during the presentation. Or for the product designers and architects to work together remotely in the collaborative working environment.
Perhaps, one day they can come up with the glove where the interactivity with the 3D objects will be much more natural. Or the best if the system can detect our hand so we will be able to manipulate the objects with our bare hand. That will be much more awesome. For more info about this product, you can read it at:
